  • Salary Range: AU$95,000 - AU$120,000 per annum (including base salary, 11% superannuation, and potential bonus)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PHP applications, focusing on identity management systems for educational institutions
  • High-traffic, mission-critical application development requiring attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Write clean, efficient code and participate in code reviews
  • Collaborate on project planning and execution
  • Interact with clients to gather requirements and provide solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of PHP development experience
  • Proficiency in PHP 8, MySQL 8, Git, Docker, and Redis
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON RPC
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with identity management systems (LDAP, AD, SimpleSAML)
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and bash scripting
  • Experience with .NET for microservices integration
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field

Work Environment

  • Primarily on-site work at St Lucia, with the option for remote work a few days per week after the initial onboarding period
  • Agile development using various project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
